Hello Everyone,

I would like to welcome everyone to the new Transformetrics forum. We have changed forum systems (SMF to vBulletin) in order to support the growth of our forum and the security of our members.

This forum system is one of the very best systems available and should provide any and all features we will ever need. There should also be a considerable increase in performance and page load speed.

The tragedy of this upgrade is that all forum posts have been lost. This is indeed a large price to pay for the vast feature improvements and security of our members, but we felt it was one we had to make.

We will be attempting to bring back some of the more important posts from the old forum archive, but it is not certain at this time if this will be possible.

We hope you enjoy what this new system has to offer.

Is there any way to retrieve my workout log? I didn't keep it any other place.

I sent you a PM about this Bruno.

Thanks, I got the pm and was able to copy the log. Appreciate it.

Are there any plans to go through some of the old posts and post some of the good advice? Keep all of the bad advice in the ether.

Maybe since you started fresh, you could post a faq section or post some of the you tube videos on this site. I for one can never get enough of the white pants.

We will indeed be doing our best to repost the good advice/content from the old forum. If any particular posts stick out in your mind as noteworthy, let me know and I will see what I can do to transfer them over.

Pages are loading a lot faster on this system. Seems to be a solid update rather than a lateral move. Still the transition is going to be a pain

Ah well, let's all just have a cold one, relax and enjoy!:beer::beer:

Wow this came as a surprise. The new look is good but its regrettable the archives arent available I used to get a lot of ideas after a search on something from previos posts, especially Johns posts and anecdotes on his training. If stuff like this could be made available then I think it would be the best of both worlds.

The good thing about the new set up is that it feels like I am in at the beginning!

Hey Cyle,

I don't know about others. But, if it's possible to get hold of some of my past workout logs, that would be great. If not, it's not a big deal. Today, I'm re-re-starting anyway. A GOOD friend has given me fresh motivation :snicker:

A decent way of getting at old posts for the moment is to do a Google search for them. For example, type the following into google:

"workout log" site:www.transformetrics.com

Then, instead of clicking the link to view the page (it is no longer there so that won't do you any good), click the "cache" link just under the item you want to view.

Give it a shot and let me know if you have any questions.

Based on what I saw posted before the updated site, I suggest that the Commander Set of isometrics be posted in that "permanent" section of the site.

Hey Cyle,

I've been able to find two of my monthly log threads that way. And, I’ve already gone to them, printed to a .pdf file, and emailed them to myself.

It's really not a big deal. I only referred to older logs sporadically, at best. I mainly use the last day of the previous month as a template for the first post of the next.

If the system is rebuilt to bring back old stuff fine, if not I'm not worried about it in the slightest.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Rob

What do the different versions of the envelopes represent?
