Hey Guys,

I have been doing more ab contractions and concentrate on them when doing dvr/dsr/bwe/isos.

I have seen my mid section get tighter and even showing a bit of a six pack. It is also sunk in some due to working the transverse muscles. Granted I am a thin guy with about 7-8% bodyfat. I have had trouble getting abs to show and the contractions really work.
I also do tons of pushups/planks/ hanging leg raises but feel the ab contraction have really made a diference.

Do you all see this too??? Just wondering??

Adding a variety of abs contraction while hanging from a Highbar is worthwhile & as a bonus your spine get a beneficial stretch

Hi Monty,

I highly recommend contracting and vaccuming the abdominal muscles when exhaling on any ISO, DVR, DSR exercise. This is another way of working the body as a whole and developing control over the so-called core.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the secondary ab work I get from Heavybag punching

I'm also at 7-8% body fat and I struggle to show a 6 pack. Reckon I'd have to get down to 5% before it shows properly.
