I have been working for the last 3 months to try and do 20 pull ups. I was stuck at 16 could not seem to get past this. So I started doing dvr's and iso's on wensday, on monday and friday I have been doing power cal's. Well today I tested myself and to my suprise I did 20 pull ups.
So the bottom line is don't do like I've done in the past and dismiss this as something that will not work, give it a try.

Hey Mitch,
You are absolutely right my friend. Isometrics and DVRS are both awesome exercises and work very well. Anyway great, great job on the 20 pull-ups and God bless.

Hey Mitch,
I really hate to come across like a jerk and say, "I told you so." But...well..."I told you so". Seriously, great work Mitch. The Combination of DVR's and ISO's yield fantastic results in terms of muscular control. I'm not even remotely surprised by your accomplishment because several others have accomplished much the same thing as a result of DVR & ISO''s

Hey guys,
Thanks, I failed to mention that I am 42. When I was in my 20's and 30's and lifted heavy weights 13 pull ups was as close to the 20 mark I could get.
Tom 25 pull ups is what I will be shooting for next, I really believe it is achievable.

Good job Mitch. You have already beaten my best (18) from a decade ago. I believe 25 is on the way.
