Yeah Gordon Russia is on the move, and this will continue as Oil and Energy turn up it will incease. Saudi Arabia used Oil Prices to hurt Iran and Russia but there was a Report that the Saudi's are buying US Oil & Energy Assets. Gordon I think your thesis was right about Saudi Arabia manipulation Oil to control both Iran and Russia but the Saudi's are slick and used the same leverage to buy US Energy Assets on the Cheap.

There are two sides to every trade and like the old ladies in Las Vegas playing bingo the big players are playing more than one card or one position. Donald Trump says that ,"The New York real estate developers are the smartest and most ruthless people in the world." For my money I'll give that title to Putin. As the former head of the KGB he has been tested in ways that others haven't and most of the Russian government leaders are former KGB and military. With the control of Europe that they have they can use it to control those counrties and influence their NATO troop deployments thus limiting their participation in Afghanistan and isolate the US in a war in a country that has never been conquered - it is going to make Iraq look like a tea party. Pressure can also be used to go against the missile defense shield.
