My 6 year old Jazzy is probably my biggest fan.Shes always imitating me when im training.Ive even taken her with me to Elite(Jeremy Horns gym)and she would be doing bear crawls and other conditoning drills with all the rest of the fighters. She always wants me to lift her up on the pullup bar so she can do some reps.Today she did 5.Dont get me wrong she was kicking her legs like a madwoman to finish the reps but she was going from a complete dead hang and got her chin above the bar each rep.I plan on filming her and putting it up on youtube so i can show her off.All i can say is that im a proud father.

When I was a lad, I babysat for a friend, Anne. Her son Jacob, or Cubby as we called him, was a lovely toddler, but freakishly strong. Once, he was in his playpen, and just pulled himself up froma deadhang, up and over the top, and then back out! Other times, he'd just be pulling himself up, or throwing some pretty heavy stuff around. He once playfully slapped me, and he had a lot of power there.
I recommended to his mom that she get him into some sort of sports. Wish I'd stayed in contact, as I'd love to know what happened to him. Talk abotu your "natural born strongmen"

Hey Friends,
After further reflection on this topic, I'm convinced that sometimes this kind of 'super human' strength among children is due to the fact that these children are unaware of the 'fact' that they are not supposed to be able to do what they do. Since they do not know it, it does not inhibit them and they just go ahead and do it anyway. Seriously, they see others doing it and so they assume that they can too. This was brought home to me when I saw a program about a young woman that is a world class rock climber. She attributed her extraordinary strength and fitness to having had a pet monkey when she was a child that she followed everywhere the monkey went. This was a very positive endorsement of the power of 'brachiation exercise' something I advise.

Black Knight I saw a science TV Show about the evolution of the wolf into the dog; and about a program using foxes. The theory was that the wolf evolved into the dog in one generation. Now that was always thought to be wrong but in the 1950's they started experiementing with foxes, and petrting and playing with the foxes that were bolder and less fearful; and in one generation they changed into dog like domestic creatures. The theory is that wolves were attracted to the first human settlements by garbage dumps, and some wolves were bolder and more social and got more garbage (food) from the humans, and in one generation changed into dogs. The experiment with the foxes showed they changed physically into more dog like animals, and changed colors of thier coats and size (becoming larger) and more playful and wanting to intercat with humans.
My younger brother as a kid loved to swing on the jungle gym and hang from our backyard swing.

Hey Nate,
It's been quite a while since I saw the program but if memory serves me right it was a program that was on either The Discovery Channel or The Learning Channel and I think it was titled; "More Than Human". Anyway, it was a great program to watch and fascinating to consider. it literally made me think that Edgar Rice Burroughs was right on the mark with the idea that Tarzan would be super human. Particularly if he lived and trained that way.
