Tested maxes on Chins and Atlas II Push Ups this morning: 13 1/2 and 25 respectively. Came home and banged out 175 Atlas IIs in 30 minutes.
Not to toot my own horn, but I think I'm starting to look decent-ish...

Hey Viking Dan,
You are looking AWESOME!
Your back width & thickness, shoulders & forearms are particularly impressive.
All your hard work is paying off.
Take care,

Dan,
You look fantastic. But, best of all, you are taking it slow without trying to bulk up and train down. In the long run, you'll have a much more aesthetic physique for it.

Thanks for the kind words, guys.
Steve Reeves believed the calves, neck and bicep should all be the same size. I've got 2 out of 3. Just need to get my orangutan arms larger.

Viking Dan (and others),
I was a member here a while ago and I am now coming back more eager than I was before.
I hope I'm not repeating other questions, but you have a great build. Did you get that buld by using the methods here?
I'll do more of a re-introduce myself in the other part of the forum, but I wanted to know what your workout primarily consists of and how long you have been at it.
Thanks

I gave up weight lifting about 1.5 years ago(I was training in a HIT style then) and switched to bodyweight exercises primarily. Currently I do this routine 4-5 days/week:
(before work)
Chins/Atlas II Push Ups
(on lunch)
Commando Chin Ups/Decline Push Ups
(evening)
Pull Ups/Furey Push Ups
Flat footed Squats/Twisting Crunches
Sometimes I throw in isos and hyperextensions, depending on energy.
I'm a fairly big guy with long limbs so I can't hit the kind of numbers some of the people here can, but considering my size I'm pretty happy.

Did 300 pushups tonight. Took me 70 minutes. Not exactly a speed record, but I digress...
Also I've been doing a lot more pullups lately and it seems to have paid off. Looks like my shoulders need work...and my gut. :weep:
