I've had off and on back pain for the past month or so that I can't associate with any particular strain or movement, so about two weeks ago I bought a pair of inversion boots. I've been hanging upside down from my pullup bar for about 2-3 minutes most mornings after my workouts. I follow this with an arm hang for 30-45 seconds. Since doing this, my back has felt great! Is anyone else using inversion or gravity boots?
I've had gravity boots for years and think that they are one of the best exercise investments that I ever made.
I don't hang upside down all that long. Instead I will stretch my back or warm up my back and then hang upside down. I do this several times and each time my back seems to stretch a little further. Generally while hanging there, I will grab a dumbell or other weight (which otherwise was just sitting there gathering dust) and allow the extra weight to really open up my lower back.

It's interesting to note that the inventor of Gravity Boots also touted hanging by your hands from a highbar
