Greg I am waiting for the VRT Book. I'm old fashioned and love a Book, I'm sure you'll a hit on your hands. DVDs are great but a book is forever.

Greg no offense but when the VRT Book comes out, think Wendie Pett as a model, and she can even use the lycra skin tight shorts. If your in the book Greg, this is an important part to remember; Baggy shorts are considered very cool!

I think a VRT Book will be a bombshell and a hit! Think how VRT can help school with budget problems, all the benifits of weight lifting and none of the cost! No need for weights, no injuries, the most you'd need is a wooden bar (I use a Japanese Jo four foot long staff or it's European equivlent the Grand Baton; both hardwood staffs about four feet long) and for dumbbells use wooden foot rollers).
VRT & DVR can revolutionize fitness in Schools and Colleges and it almost perfect and is as perfect as a man can make.

Greg, I agree with Mike about how much VRT and DVR could help fitness in schools.
I live in a small town in Costa Rica. And a growing number of young people go through school and end up doing drugs. Very similar to the U.S. The kids and their families don't have much money, and the kids get bored and get into things that hurt them.
The public schools can't afford equipment. I'd love to introduce VRT/DVR to both the primary school and the high school in my town. But...even though I'm eating much more carefully and exercising regularly with Transformetrics exercises, I'm still far over-weight. I wouldn't have the necessary credibility.
One of the many motivations for me to create a healthier and good-looking body is so I will have credibility and can help at least a few kids get into VRT/DVR and focus on building themselves physically and mentally. They need a positive focus, and I think they'd help themselves and avoid drugs and other trouble-making activities.

I agree, a book would be terrific and offers the opportunity to tdiscuss a larger varity of excercises for each part of the body with their benefits and secondary benefits. It also allows for a more complete routine such as delving into aerobics, etc and discussing sprints, skipping etc.

Hank great post! Yes VRT/DVR can save a huge amount of money for schools. Using Bronze Bow's books and authors we could see a return to the Gym's like the the ancient Greeks and Romans used, no equipment need, just space and bathing & or showers. That could be a huge savings for poor schools around the globe. A Gym might be an open field for the poorest schools and one or two books. Muscle Tension exercises build you up as much as weights or fancy machines anddon't hurt the joints or ligaments.
Hank VRT/DVR will work for you, kids want credibility. What a nice thought hoping to help there. My prayers go with you. What a pity, children living in poverty turning to drugs and making thier lives worse. All the best in your training and aiding others.

Great ideas, Mike and drb01!
I agree that a VRT book (maybe with push-ups and pull-ups, for example) could have a much larger impact than the DVD. DVDs can be great. But when I want to look for info I've seen before, I'm almost always going to grab a book rather than take a lot more time to play a DVD and find the spot that I want.
Also, poor people around the globe are as important as anyone else. And helping young people develop themselves mentally (focus), emotionally (discpipline), and physically could change their lives and those of the next generation. Having something to look forward to every day can have great benefits.
Mike, interesting that you talked about "gyms" in ancient Greece and how gyms in some places could turn out to be an open field equipped with a book or two. In my little town, a huge open field ("plaza") is directly across from the elementary school. And only one block from the high school.
Many schools here have problems similar to those that many U.S. schools schools experience: lack of discipline. Kids naturally have tons of energy. From what I've seen, the schools here don't have physical education classes. The closet they come to that is about 20 minutes of recess for the elementary students. The school keeps the students in the school grounds rather than planning physical activities for the students in the open field...just across the street!
The info that John and Greg have created and that has been communicated based on the experiences of so many Transformetrics members is tremendously valuable. Virtually anyone could put the info to use today.
But...people can act only on information that they're aware of. Until I learned about DVRs, VRTs, etc., it would have been impossible for me to use these valuable tools. John and Greg are doing a great job of sharing their expertise with us and those who buy their books and videos. And members are sharing with other members. And a VRT book makes so much sense.
How might we do an exponentially more effective job of sharing this info that can change lives with people ... in the U.S. and elsewhere... who have varying abilities too access it?

Any updates on the VRT book and when should we expect it to be on sale?
Thanks

I too prefer books to DVD's for quick reference. A book& DVD combination would be great.
