WOW! Verne Gagne was one of my boyhood heroes. He was the Champion of the AWA when I was a kid and was truly a talented wrestler both as an amateur and as a professional. I'm guessing that Verne is in his mid-eighties about now.I'm sorry to see this.

He is apparently 83. I remember watching him wrestle in the 1950s. I agree it is tragic.

John and Andy,
My grandfather died with Alzheimers. Currently my stepdad's mother is suffering from Alzheimers. It is a tragic, tragic disease. My grandmother often had days and nights where her husband of over fifty years would look at her and say, "Who are you?"
My father who is in his late sixties, for obivious reason, studies current trends in Alzheimer research and the effecti of nutritional and naturopathic remedies as well. I had told him about Lith-a-Life, and he was curious as to the possibility of Lithium Orotate slowing the onset of Alzheimers.

Alzheimers has been in my family so I'm interested in prevention.
