Which do you guys think is more effective/ better? ISO powerflexes are something I really enjoy doing, especially for the biceps/triceps. I was wondering how effective ISO pulses are when compared to just the regular ISO powerflex
Thanks

Can’t say which is better but alternating is a good way to add some verity to your routine. Pick a day, say Saturday, and do your iso routine as pulses possibly 5 to10 quick, hard pulses. The rest of the week do the isos for 1 rep holding 10 seconds.

I would think it to be difficult to compare the two, depending on how the pulses are applied.

An ISO powerflex is usually a flex/hold performed at the point of maximum contraction.

But, the pulses have usually been described as being performed in the “normal” CIC positions, with change in the hold times.

My suggestion would be to try one for a few weeks, and note your results. Then try the other for the SAME amount of time, and again note your results.
