Hope you had great weather. What did you serve at your BARB BQ ?
Moose?
Bear?
Salmon?
American hotdogs?
I was just curious about an Alaskan BARB BQ. I think if I had a 15 foot snow drift in my parking lot I would just let the kids paint it with koolaid. :rainbow: I hope you didn't kill your back by trying to move it. :alien:

Sooooo....... How was the tournament?

Hi Kottie,

The tournament went great. Had about 230 competitors, great competion with no injuries. Thats the way I like it, good, seriious weapon forms, and sparring with everyone showing respect and a great time. The BBQ went great!!!!!! It got up to about 30 degrees, everyone had their jackets off, ate great food as we had about 800 people attend. The instructors, staff, and parents did a great job putting it all together. I finally get a little time to relax before I am off to Kalona Canada, then to Arizona and California.

To all my friends, please have a safe fun Easter! Your friend, Larry

Hi Larry,

I am glad you had a wonderful tournament. It sounds like you have a terrific school and staff. Do you compete in various martial arts competitions? What type of competitions do you enjoy?:male-fighter2::male-fighter1:

We celebrated Easter with my mom and sisters. My family and I ventured out to several special river banks along the home front. One had many beautiful trumpeter swans. We placed roses in the rivers to remember our loved ones who have passed on. I spent time thinking about the children on the Red Lake Nation reservation . A Harvard study recently concluded that 1 out of every 6 Native teenagers today has attempted suicide. There are many ways I plan to help them. Please remember them in your prayers.

Enjoy your Spring :rose:

Scott Richard Lyons had a good article. "Never Laugh at Your Children". "Horror and Hope at Red Lake Nation."
