Hey everyone!
My name is David Morris and I'm new to posting, but I've been reading this forum for ages, ever since it was back at the BronzeBow website. What can I say, I'm a bad procrastinator.
At 36, I've decided to get myself in shape after having been in terrible condition since I was about 32, when my wife and I started having children. So I bought PYTP, Miracle 7, the Iso book, and Powerflex. I cannot say enough about the quality of the publications and the effectiveness of the exercises they contain.
When I began following the Transformetrics plan in late January, I weighed 247 pounds at 5'9". Today I weighed in at 222, and that's factoring in 16 pounds of solid muscle that I've gained according to my doctor's calipers. My goal is to be at 200lbs of solid muscle by July 1st!
Right now I'm doing 200 partial push ups in 4 sets of 50, 4x12 traditional-style dips, 4x12 Atlas-style slow dips (thinking into the muscle), 200 crunches, 200 calf raises, DSR arm curls and tricep extensions (my arms are exploding!), 4x12 intense DSR back rows using a door frame, and 200 hindu squats. All exercises are done every other day, except for the crunches, calves, and squats, which I'm doing every day. In addition, I'm doing John's interval sprinting program and I've cut my calories to 1500 a day (though I do splurge now and then). Soon I hope to buy the Iso Power Belt and incorporate Isos into my workouts as well.
My wife is now working through the Miracle 7 book with me to shed weight she gained from delivering our 3rd baby.
All I can say is, thank you John! And thank all of you forum members for being such an inspiration to me!
3 John 2,
David
