John, I have a question to ask you, I am thinking of doing nothing but the trinity of health routine, and adding pull-ups, I plan to brisk walk 3 times a week for 30 min. also, would the trinity and brisk walking cover my needs for cardio, without adding any extra cardio? I plan on doing the trinity 3-4 times a week. I was just wondering what you thought, thanks for any ideas.

Hey Dynogoalie30,

A workout of the Trinity 4 times each week and brisk walking for 30 minutes daily would give you all the strength, flexibility, and cardio/muscular endurance you need to remain perfectly strong and fit.

In fact, if you don't have knee problems, building up to 300 Tiger Bend Squats in 12 to 15 minutes daily would offer extremely high level cardio as well as outstanding lung and leg development. Not only that but it would also enhance lower body flexibility in a great way. The other thing that you would quickly discover is that after performing 300 Tiger Bend squats daily it doesn't take long at all (30 days or less of daily practice)and you can literally keep going and perform as many reps as you wish even 1,000 if that is something you want to do. The great Hindu wrestlers are said to have performed thousands of reps each day with no ill effects to the knees. This I can believe because they never over taxed their joints, ligaments, and tendons by over stressing them with holding heavy weights on their shoulders. The practice of squatting by heavy weights on the shoulders and heavy bench pressing have injured more men's bodies than any other two exercises in existence. People get upset with me for saying it but it's the truth.

Squatting by itself would be sufficient for cardio; time crunched folks needn't be cardio deprived if they didn't do the 30 minute walks. Enhance the cardio effects of squats with some upperbody moves(eg JP uses a rowing DVR while squatting- see his Trinity DVD)

Thank you John and gruntbrain for the replys, I have worked up tp 250 hindu squats, and no knee problems so I will keep pushing up the numbers, I am so busy with work that I figured that by doing the trinity and getting in three walks a week should work out good for me. I feel a lot better with my workout sistuation now that you helped me understand a few things, thank you again.I need to work on my bridging, thnak you again.

Spice up your walks with some simultaneous upperbody DSRs &/or DVRs; your heart will luv ya for it.
