Again, I'll keep you all posted on my progress as I'm committed to you all and want to show you success using a combination of Chisel & Transformetrics. I'll update you also on my progress with Pushups, Situps and Squats in another post.

Thanks,

Jon

Hey Jon,

"Chisel" will help you achieve that lithe "chiseled look". First off, it will elevate your metabolism and you will actually feel better. Don't be afraid to take more than two each day but don't take any after 6 pm. Next, it will give you the kind of energy you want and need for Push-Ups, Sit-Ups, Squats and Isometrics. All of which will build lean muscle mass which will simultaneously cause a dramatic fat loss. My recommendation is that you not worry about weight as measured by the scale but play close attention to your aesthetics in a mirror and eat to gain muscle. Chisel will help in this regard because it will destroy your cravings for sweets and carbs. Keep us posted my friend. I'll be pulling for you.

John,

Thanks for the advice. I wasn't sure about over-use of this product as I've heard this has caused issues with other products on the market and the instructions say 1-2 tablets 1hr before 2 meals. Also, thanks for the tip on the evening as I wasn't sure which meals I should focus on using these with. I think I'll be doing breakfast and lunch as I already have trouble falling asleep at night and don't need any stimulants to affect this.

Now, as promised here are my strength stats from when I started till now.

PushUps Max (Liederman Std): 15 (2/1/09), 34 (6/1/09)
Atlas SitUps: 20 (2/1/09), 45 (6/1/09)
Furey Squats: 25 (2/1/09), 60 (6/1/09)

Currently I'm performing 10 sets of 15 PushUps (Variety), 25 Furey Squats, and 15 Atlas SitUps during the day. I'm upping the number of reps each week. Also including Iso's and DVRs throughout the day.

Will keep you posted.

Jon,

Awesome job, man! Keep with it and be consistent and you can't go wrong. I just started using Chisel too, I'm sure it's a great product if John has put his name and face on it.

My unsolicited advice.. Personally I've found the real key to weight loss is just pure constancy. Just a few "cheat meals" a week can be a disaster. Not that I'm against an occasional cheat meal, but keep it to one meal a week and eat clean the rest of the time and you can't go wrong!

Eat whole foods you make yourself (avoid anything shrink wrapped or in cardboard). And stay away from sugar and refined flours.

Also don't go into an extreme calorie deficit if you're exercising regularly! Man oh man will that slow you down!

its been a couple weeks, I would love to get an update on how your chisel experience is going. I'm also starting up my regiment, or will be as soon as I just ordered my first batch.

In slightly less that 60 days I dropped 20 pounds and got back to my college wrestling weight from 50 years ago. I was never hungry and, infact, didn't start out with the goal to lose weight, but just to build my energy.

Hey Gordon,

A drop of 20 pounds, now that is impressive!

Hope that life is treating you well.

Take care,

I'm happy to hear of your progress. I'm wondering how my body will respond as i do rock climbing and for the moment hot yoga, and burn up a ton of calories. Don't want to let my body run out of gas while on the stuff.
