I just got off the phone with our friend and teacher, John e Peterson and he is a hellava great guy! He took an hour and a half out of his day to talk to me about training and just to chat.
John, I want to let you know that I appreciate the time and advice. And I'm sure there are some other guys on here that will chime in and back me up that Mr. Peterson is a class act all the way and the real deal! He practices what he preaches and believes in his methods 110% - and so do I for that matter :act-up:. He also had great things to say about all of our friends here and is a genuinely nice man.
No, John didn't ask or pay me to say these things, it's just how a feel. He didn't even know I was going to write this! And I'm sure others will back me up on these points.
Thanks again John,
-Joe

This whole forum is filled with class people and they reflect the environment created by John Peterson. John is not just in it for the ego trip or the money- he really cares and it shows.

And might I add you, Joe, have transformed. When you first started posting here, you came across to me as a little judgemental and curmudgeonly,(imho, lol!), but now you are one of the forum leaders! You lift people up, informand inspire, without losing any of your voice or opinions. Just an observation... You and John, and everybody here who contributes should be commended.
Aloha,
Jim

I've been inspired by and befriended by a lot of folks here, Mike, Joe, and Andy being three among many too numerous to name. However, most of all, I have to thank a fellow by the name of John Peterson for providing this forum and stepping out to pick up the Charles Atlas legacy and take it to a higher plane with his research, his books, his videos and by his example. Dreams are the stuff that change a paradigm. John has had the courage to step out on his dream and make it a reality. That is true inspiration.

I agree with all the great comments by all the previous posters.
This forum is in a class of its own which reflects on the owner. It has to be very time consuming to read and respond to the many daily posts. Then the problems with unwanted posters, some would find it not worth doing for free.
The helpfulness of all the regulars, is a legacy to "the Mentor", "the Peacekeeper", Mr. Peterson.
Some as myself will go through life never having those "15 minutes of fame", or leaving a lasting impression such as a Charles Atlas. Well, the new improved, "Atlas", is John Peterson.
His books are already the "bibles" in their fields. With the soon to be released books and Isokit, wow, now that's what I call making your mark in society. When he is judged, he will be asked "How did you improve the world during your time there?" I wish I had his responses when I get asked. Well, you understand what I mean.
Thank you Mr. Peterson for everything. I have only known you for 1.5 years, yet I have a lifetime worth of memories and advice and direction.

It;s interesting(or depressing) to contrast what JP has to offer & what is seen at bookstores & infommercials.

All I know is that because of the moderator/owner (JP), the informational content, and the support and encouragement I see here, this is the ONLY fitness/health/exercise forum I frequent.
And, to any newbies reading these, here’s another cool thing.
John not only reads the posts, but he also remembers what’s going on in the lives of forum members. Due to the busy-ness that is life, I hadn’t spoken to John for a few years  A few weeks ago, we were finally able to connect again. Almost immediately he asked how my baby girl was doing, something every proud dad is more than willing to talk about. Now, if that isn’t a guy who cares of about those he associates with, even if just on the internet, I don’t know what is.
Add me to the list of those that over the years have had some really great correspondence with John. From my first concerning a book written by Wrestler Antonino Rocca, to the most recent about using the Ts, always pleasant, easy and encouraging.
Thanks John
