Hi, guys: this might seem like a small point, but it has definitely helped me!

I used to count reps in standard fashion; i.e. one,two,three.... eleven, twelve, thirteen, twenty-one, twenty-two... and so on...

I read a book, Outliers, by Malcolm Gladwell that explores just WHY some people excel in various areas. (EXCELLENT book, by the way!!!) At any rate, Gladwell points out that Asians excel at mathematics partly because their system of counting is much more 'memorable':

instead of "eleven", the Asian system is more like ten-one, ten-two, etc.

(The OTHER reason they excel at mathematics is because they have a "rice paddy culture" of intensively HARD WORK!) But, you can read the book and get all that-

I am here to say that, for me, to count reps as:

One, two three....
Two, two, three...
Three, two three...
Four, two, three....etc.

Is INFINITELY easier to keep track of, less "taxing" as you become more and more tired, and just plain a BETTER way to count reps!

I know, it seems like a small matter; but it really helped me, especially as I started doing more and more reps.
