View Full Version : A back study
Here are some pictures I took early last month (starting of June). I was one month into a Maxalding program I took from the internet.

You are testimony that Maxalding WORKS!!
I use it as well- such simple, effective exercises that are so.. UNknown!!
J
Steve,
thanks for the kind words. Here's the link to the program I am currently using. If you go back to the overview of the maxalding site, you will find more programs.

Jaymo,
you are right, it is such a simple way of exercising, and yet so difficult. Learning the exercises them selves is easy, getting the right control of the muscles is a different issue. But it is worth the effort!

Hey Jan,
You are welcome.
Thank you for the link. How long do you do each part of the course for? Also, were you performing any other exercise along with the Maxalding course?
Take care,
Steve
Steve,
the routine I am currently following is on a monthly basis. So you stick with lesson one for a month, gradually increasing the tension and lowering the number of reps, and than continue with lesson two, also for another month, and so on. As on the time you keep the muscles under flexion: as long as you can, just do not let the muscles quiver. There is a great book, also on the maxalding site, nicely explaining how to work with this system. Here's the link: maxalding.co.uk/Philosophy/philosophy1.htm
Here you can find all of the maxalding exercises, plus a nice bit of theory on the how and why of the system.

Hi Jan,
I am sorry for not replying sooner, I saw your pics when they were first posted, but got sidetracked. That is amazing muscularity you have now from the flexing and tensing. How is your strength holding up with this style of training? Has it increased or leveled off? I have to think your coordination is off the charts now.
Greg
Hi Greg,
sorry for this very, very late reply, but I have been away from the forum for quit some time.
I feel Maxalding has only added strength. The thing I like about Maxalding is that it teaches you control over indiviual muscles, instead of entire muscle groups. That gives a very special feeling, difficult to express in words. The system however is that easy to learn (my personal opinion), some isolations are really difficult. It also takes a bit more time do develop muscularity. That is apparently one of the reasons it never really got well-known by the general body-building public, which was looking for a quick way to build muscles.

currently studying on this way of training. really hard to find anyone that is trying to train so today. I'm interested in how training is progressing and whether it is worthwhile if you do not see the skilled person.
