I decided to change up my workout to include the Tiger moves.
am-
4 mile run (hill route)
pm
100 atlas I push ups performed in a single set. Although I haven't done this regularly I managed to knock off a set of 100. I did it in less than 5 min.
I then performed two sets of ten of the tiger moves
34 second bridge (hamstring was beginning to cramp so I quickly go out of position)
5 sets 20 Power T's
tonight 1 1/2 hour Tae Kwan Do class.

Go Ray. That 5X20 with the Tee's at the tail end of the workout was very impressive as well. What has been your experience blending TaeKwonDo with the types of workouts we practice here?
Stingray,
That's a great workout. Is this a daily routine or do you rest a day in between?

Greg, Thanks for the support. I am fairly new to Tae Kwan Do, but it seems to be a good blend. Getting power from my kicks and blocks comes from learning muscle control and building strength.

I am planning on doing this daily for a while to learn more muscle control while doing DVRs.
Today
I decided to do a set of Atlas push ups followed by a set of each of the Tiger moves
so, it was 1 set of 50 Atlas, then 7 moves, set of 30 Atlas pu and then 7 moves, set of 20
then Tiger moves
I then did two sets of 15 Power T's with feet elevated about 15"
2 sets of Atlas sit ups
80 seconds bridging
4 x 25 Balance squats
1 x 8 self resist curls
ISO belt curl 3 positions
jump rope 10 min
Stingray,
Looks like quite a workout, when integrating the Ts don’t forget to use some alternate hand/grip positions from time to time.
You listed 10 minutes of jumping rope. That’s a great exercise and one of my favorites. I’ve just recently tried to use a jump rope. I had an unsuccessful knee operation in 2000 that put a stop to my jumping rope. Up to the day before the operation I skipped 5 – 6 days a week 20 – 30 minutes no-stop. My original inspiration for skipping rope was Sugar Ray Robinson. Recently I’ve been able to do some very short skipping sessions, I’m going to take it slow and see if I can work to 10 minutes.
Good luck with Tae Kwan Do, keep us posted.

Ran yesterday 40 min.
Today:
decided to do push ups
3 x 25 atlas
then spread over an hour
30 x 17 push ups standard
this gave me a total of 585
I will be taking a week off from exercise. I'll post when I resume.
