View Full Version : Another Guy Trying Chisel

I just received my order of Chisel and started it yesterday. Andy62's experience with it helped me decide to give it a shot.

While my exercise has been limited due to shoulder injury (finally diagnosed as subdeltoid bursitis), I've had very little energy coupled with lots of cravings. Not a great combination. Controlling eating has been difficult for me most of my life.

I'll report on my experience with Chisel as John has requested of those who use his supplements. I don't have any idea how long it typically takes for Chisel to start having beneficial effects on energy and appetite. I haven't had any cravings yesterday or this morning. And I've felt much more energetic than I usually do.

hello Hank_Z,

Our "Chisel" is a superior product that stops cravings dead in their tracks while enhancing energy. Yet, unlike Hydroxycut and other products that were harsh stimulants that over tax the adrenal glands there is no sense of feeling "Wired" while on our product. Our is a unique, one of a kind product that 'works'.

It's very preliminary feedback. But I took my Chisel tablet early this morning, had lots of energy...and only realized at 10:30 a.m. that I'd forgotten to eat breakfast.

Gordon had told me that Chisel makes eating a very conscious decision. My early experience coincides exactly with that. And with what John wrote above.

Cravings still gone. I've been taking one tablet a day. Instructions say to take one or two a day.

I may take a second later today. My energy has been much higher than usual. I hit an energy slump about 3:00 p.m. yesterday. I think that pattern is pretty common for many people and has led to siestas in some (sane?) parts of the world. If I take a second tablet, it will be to keep my much better energy up.

I took my second Chisel of the day this afternoon. My wife agrees that my energy is 'night and day' greater than it was a few days ago. And I'm not hyper.

And I'm only eating when I feel hungry. Just like yesterday, I forgot a meal until my wife reminded me I hadn't eaten.

Very cool!

A quick note on why I've been providing updated info on my experience with Chisel. Basically, I've been a skeptic about nutritional supplements.

Other than taking vitamins off and on (mostly multiple vitamins), I don't recall taking any nutritional supplements during the past 30 years. I'm not sure if I even took anything other than some vitamins, which never had a discernible effect.

As I mentioned earlier in this thread, I decided to give Chisel a try after Gordon (Andy62) posted about having lost a significant amount of weight and getting to his desired weight while taking Chisel for about two months. He also has maintained that weight.

Also, Gordon posted that Chisel eliminated his cravings. Cravings have been a huge problem for me most of my life. My early experience with Chisel has very much surprised me...positively! Far more energy and no cravings. If that changes...and I don't expect it to...I'll say so.

Example: The past two days I've gone to our local little grocery store. Each time I bought an ice cream bar and brought it home for my wife. I had absolutely no desire to buy ice cream for myself. So I didn't. My family knows I've been an ice cream-aholic my entire adult life.

Chisel update. It's now been three weeks since I started on Chisel and started posting my preliminary results. I decided to try Chisel to help with 1) cravings and 2) a severe lack of energy. My energy was so low I thought I was depressed. (Went through a horrible depression back in the 1980s and wasn't looking forward to those kinds of problems again.)

My cravings for ice cream and similar have virtually disappeared. There have been only two times when I felt like I had a strong craving for that kind of stuff. And I'd been an ice cream-aholic for decades. I've been to a large city near here several times since I've started Chisel. Prior to Chisel, I found one or more ice cream places and ate ice cream at least 90% of the time. Usually ate a LOT. Since Chisel, I've eaten no ice cream when I've gone to the city. I've not even been tempted.

The only cravings-type problem I've had is a craving for popcorn before bed at night this past week. Life has been especially challenging...about as challenging as it gets in Costa Rica. And I stopped taking a second Chisel around 6 or 7 p.m. I was having some trouble getting to sleep and read a post asking John if Chisel's ingredients could interfere with sleep. Although I haven't gone back and looked at that thread, I believe that John said he wasn't sure if that could be a problem. And that he doesn't take Chisel after about 4 p.m.

This afternoon a friend came by and remarked how "skinny" I look. That's a big exaggeration, but he did notice a difference. I don't have access to scales for weighing myself, which is problem a good thing. My belt has gotten one or two notches tighter since I started Chisel three weeks ago.

Enery: Absolutely tremendous benefits. I've had more energy during the past three weeks than I'd had in a long time. I'm thrilled. I can't prove that Chisel is what's given me the energy. But, as I said, life's been especially demanding and there's nothing else to which I can reasonably attribute the increased energy. Such a dramatic difference...and the extra energy came almost immediately.

Just one guy's experience.

I just ordered my third bottle of Chisel yesterday. I weighed myself this morning and I am down 23 pounds since I started and feel great. I plan to stabilize at this weight. It has really been easy.

No cravings? Sounds like just what my husband needs for his appetite.

Only wish Chisel was sold over here.

And Greg, PLEASE tell me which of the supplements is helping you with concentration?

Can two kinds of supplements be taken at the same time?

Hank, thanks for the updates. It is helpful to hear what your experience has been.

April,

While I don't think Chisel is marketed as something to increase concentration, my concentration been much better during the three weeks I've been taking it. Didn't really make a connection until I read your post. Maybe it's a coincidence. I can't be sure. My brain is extremely ADHD and concentrating has been a lifelong challenge, even with medication...which helped a lot.

While I certainly don't claim to be a scientist it is not too far of a stretch for me to assume that something that lessens the intensity of the automatic craving part of you brain will increase your ability to concentrate. It is like lessening the static on a radio.

Thanks Hank and Gordon. I appreciate your comments.

Most of my family suffers from some degree of ADHD. Only one child has no trace of it; he got the brilliance without the distractedness. Our four other children have mild to severe ADHD or ADD. I hate to say "they got it from their father" but...they got it from their father. My husband is the stereotypical absent-minded professor - brilliant, infinitely creative, dubbed at work "the walking encyclopedia", but with many ADHD traits.

Three major problems of my husband's have been addressed in the Chisel discussions: sleep problems (I thought somewhere Aaron said Chisel helps him sleep better), cravings, and concentration. About the sleep, he does have sleep apnea and the CPAP machine helps a lot, but there is something more that is disturbing his sleep.

Next time one of our family members goes to the US, we will have them bring back a few bottles of Chisel. I am afraid that if I have my mother mail it to us, there will be high customs fees on it (they may consider it like a vitamin). I know a supplement can't fix everything, but if some improvements are being reported here, it is definitely worth a try.

Is Chisel something you can take indefinitely? It is just a supplement, not a medication, so I imagine there is no problem with long term use.

When my husband used to do very vigorous exercise every day I think it was very good for his general mood and health. I noticed that after he stopped the daily vigorous cycling to work and back (up very long steep hills), he became much more irritable and always complained of headaches. Hank, do you think the exercise you do itself helps your ADHD somehow?

Hank, I am glad you mentioned about your ADHD. It is good to hear of someone else's experience with things that have helped. Any other ideas would be most welcome. PM's are okay if it is not really relevant for the forum.

Hank,

I'm happy to hear that you're enjoying the Chisel too. I still maintain that I believe it's great for energy levels. I don't know about it helping sleep, but its never kept me up to the best of my knowledge.

I can assure you that Chisel does not cause problems with sleeping. I sleep great.
