Many of you are well aware of the bias that NBC "news" shows to the Obama administrations point of view. Jokes are made of the "National Barak Channel". What many of you don't know is why that bias exists, and how it benefits GE, the parent company of NBC.

That is not how "the game" is played. It is not about political parties or issues ,but about "access." I was on the PAC [ political action committee] for a major industry group. We would give 25% of our allocated political funds to the Democrats and 25% to the Republicans. The remaining 50% went to the winning party whoever it was and that is not unusual. If I remember correctly Obama had more contritutions from Wall Street than McCain, but Obama was able to deliver the masses with his "emotional appeal." and that is what makes him so valuable to his backers and handlers. That is how it is and how the world works.

As Earl Nighingale used to say,"The fact that knowledge is power is the opiate of the intellectual- power is power and it always has been. Until recently people with knowledge were used to entertain the people with power." Life is only for the strong- we all need to develop our NERVE FORCE..

Yeah, exactly. They can't be sure who will win an election, so they hedge their bets. Certainly the outcome and the benefits they are deriving from it speaks a lot louder than a few political contributions.
