Joe Justice I just saw your Outdoor Workout video on U Tube. This was an outstanding testimonial to your training methods and work ethic. Not merely a posed photo for a contest or magazine, this was proof documented in video, of the true meaning of functional fitness. Your ability to climb, run and move over rugged terrain, tops anything the detractors try to put you down with. I was especially impressed with your ability to climb the tree using your hands and arms for power. WOW! For Police work as well as military special op, firefighter or construction worker, give me the guy who trains and performs like you and keep all the weightlifting bodybuilders and power lifters who can't move.

Thanks DT Man! I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
Did you see my spectacular handstand demonstration as well?
I did the outdoor training video way back in January. I'm not a remarkably athletic guy, but I've graddually become more and more functionally fit, no doubt about it!
Here's something a little tougher done around the same time, about 7 months ago:
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ZYxbpvaWAq8&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ZYxbpvaWAq8&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
I need to get some new stuff up there. Not nearly the amount of free time to put that stuff together in the summer that I have in the winter. I've probably lost 3 or more inches around me waist since I made that video and I'm a lot stronger. I was capable doing 10 decent chin's at the time and now I can get 15. I'm hoping to post a video here soon of a 20 foot rope climb in my back yard (arms only). I can get about 3/4 of the way up right now, so I should be able to get that down soon. Maybe I'll do another compilation video, those are a lot of fun.
BTW, just out of curiosity how many of my "detractors" ever put up videos of themselves doing anything? I knew this one guy that use to video tape Tony Horton DVDs off of his TV set in some kind of attempt to show me up or something - I never really understood his point. It use to make me chuckle because he would never post videos of himself, for obvious reasons, instead he thought he'd compare me to a professional fitness instructor :rotfl:
Lots of haters our there. Lots of critics. Talk is cheap.

Pretty impressive. I also like your rafter pull up video. Old school, kick butt workout! I laugh when people post posed flex shots as proof of functional fitness. Video tells quite another story. I recently proved to a bunch of iron heads that Steve Reeves, one of the great bodybuilders, was stiff and uncoordinated in a fight scene from Hercules, by finding a clip of the scene. One of the contributors on another board posted your videos and layed it on the line for these guys. Even your detractors admit you are in great shape and did an outstanding job losing weight and developing true functional fitness. The main detractor, a bitter guy, was forced to eat some crow after watching your video. Maybe crow will take the bitter taste out of his mouth. He tried to twist it around, but as you say, talk is cheap. Anyway, enough about them, when you climb that tree in the video, I don't believe a better definition of functional fitness can be put into words. Great job! Your accomplishments make all of who do Transformetrics proud!
