No Im going to suggest taking an axe to a telephone pole and throwing it end over end. Im just showing you all the daily routine that I do in the hope that it might help someone or someone might help me with pointers in either what to add in or what to take out.

So it either begins with a 2 mile run or 2 mile walk with weighted vest switching one for the other each day
then i move on to the routine.

Warm up = Bowl of porridge and two or three songs from a bagpipe cd

A.m

Atlas push-ups 3 sets x 10 reps
Dips 3x5
Furey squats 3x15
Wide grip pull-up 3x5
Sit-ups 30
Leg raises 3x10
Pull-up 3x5
Push-ups 3x10
Commando pull-ups 3x5

P.m

Warm-up = Speech from Braveheart 4 to 5 reps at least

Knee pull-in 30
Oblique crunch 3x10 (each side)
Close grip pull-up 35
Furey push-ups 3x10
Close grip chin-ups 3x5
Elevated push-ups 3x10
Wall squat 1 upto 3 mins
Behind neck pull-ups 3x max effort (in my case 1)
Ball slams upto 3 mins

For that real Scottish feeling if your from warmer climates do this outside like me but put your sprinkler systems on and drag some office fans outside switched on full whack.
I hope this maybe some use to people starting out and if anyone has any tips on how to do things diffrently i would be glad of any help :)

I would probably warm up with Braveheart in the AM, rather than PM.
It's just harder to get started in the morning, I would probably need the boost...

Derk, I am a bit surprised that you neglected to include jogging around the neighbor hood with just a kilt an a axe. but, for what its worth, when i do it, my neighbors complain, even when I invite them to join me. Is beer considered a sports drink? (please say yes)

Yes but to get the full benifits from said beverage you cant pay for it yourself and must be kept in the hip pocket of your coat

Too Funny -

And to answer that age old question: "What's worn under a kilt? Nothing's worn. It's all in good working condition!"

All in Fun!
