Hi There:

Today i did:

1 minute hang

-- In the beginning of GUTS John says to warm up do some full body iso's. I find the Hang does that rather well for me.

30 Atlas III

7 negative Atlas sit ups

-- I find Atlas sit ups to be very challenging for me. I think it is because I relax my legs without thinking when I do sit ups. But when I did these negatives I with thought tightened my legs and found I could keep my legs close to the ground as I did the negatives.

50 TBS

7 negative Atlas Sit Ups

30 Atlas III

I took a rest here and there because I did not want to kill myself. But this entire routine took me eleven minutes total including rests. I know one is not supposed to apply rests but once again I did not want to kill myself.

Over all I LOVE GUTS. I never really put my whole heart into the TRINITY because the TSPU is a great push up and a push up I enjoy but it is also very challenging for me. The Atlas exercises are a very good variation and one that works well for me.

I have not done the Milo because at the end of these ten minutes I have nothing left in the tank. But I hope to add Milo to the end of this routine once I become more used to it. Although since I have some time before work today I will do them later but I will report them once I can do the Milo right after this routine.

Hi All:

Today i did a very very abbr. version of GUTS

1.10 minutes Hang
1.20 Atlas III aerobic isometric x1 1/2 push ups

-- I find these isometrics to be a great way to warm up. I also find doing the Atlas III in aerobic isometric form helps me to do Atlas III push ups much better than I would without the isometric

x30 Atlas III

Believe it or not that is all I had time for today. Perhaps tomorrow I will be back on track.

In the end fear is just another obstacle to conquer.
