In the DVD, your reps are almost ballistic, Greg? Is that the recommendation?

In theory, all rep speeds & intensities are worthile; picking the right combo is based on what you want : joint mobility, strength building, cardio, ... OR

Hi Dan, I guess that's an appropriate way of putting it! I would say, in my own didactic way, that I am pursuing the exercises with an energizing gusto.
I felt at the time that I made it that I would show viewers, and therefore future students of this method, that this is an extremely powerful muscle-pumping bodybuilding system, and that I go at it with the boiling-over enthusiasm of a weight trainer working out in full exercise mode. And that is the way I pretty much went at it in real life for quite awhile.
However, note that at the ending of the DVD, Dan, that I post a disclaimer that the student of this method should tailor it to their own abilities and feel free to create their own exercises. Likewise, in the illustrated course booklet, I also make mention of the fact that some may find the exercises difficult and should develop their own comfortable routine. Though I may look ballistic, do whatever you can and trust that I am just being enthusiastic about VRT !! :act-up:

Just go with your instincts and how you feel at the time of the workout.

I tried the whole routine over the weekend for 2 sets and it darn near killed me.
The situps were a big surprise. I almost didn't make 5. The routine seems to have a lot of overlap.
I don't like the crucifix lift too much as you lose all tension in it near the top. Otherwise, quite a workout.
