Thank you so much for taking the time to send us to an excellent website. I really enjoyed the information as there is alot of the similar concepts trainning in SSS. In SSS most of our firing is done with the no sight mindset. We also focus on using the powded blast and concussion to disable an attacker at point blank range. I am curious, are there alot of you out there that practice weapon survival as part of your training? If so, I would like to here how you train, and what type of weapon you use. I think I will go back to that website and read it again,

Larry I'm older than most on this website and so was trained in point shooting, what you said about muzzle blast and flash is quite true. Once the FBI were the best trained gunfighters in the USA but that changed and they abandoned thier old training methods. When I entered law Enforcement it was a differnt world then when I retired; and not for the better.

I'd never heard of point shooting until recently and I've never tried it. I will read more about it and try to practice it on the range to see how it works for me.
