As some of you know, I have been having a slight problem in the crook of my left arm. It hasn't been getting any worse but it hasn't been getting any better either. The last two days I did a little bit of pullups before the G.U.T.S. and a little bit afterwards. What I have noticed that the pullups done after the Milos there is less discomfort. I am starting to think that my problem is that I am doing my pullups off of a rock wall hang board and using my fingertips and not really a grip. What is your thoughts? I have tried the different positions on the tower and that seems to help. On the tower it is easier to do chin ups and do pullups on the rock wall hang board. Many of you have given advice on using netting. I haven't been successful in finding any down here but we're kind of strapped for money anyways. I just wanted to let you know that I am not ignoring your advice but rather working with what I have.

Are you doing the Milos isometrically or DSR-style?

Thanks for the question. I do it isometrically.

I ask because an old, left elbow injury makes doing it DSR-style painful but I can do it isometrically in a couple positions. Pull ups and chins don't really bother me unless I go real slow. A high intensity DSR milo causes a tendon/nerve bundle (or whatever it is) to pop uncomfortably when I move accross a certain point in the range.
