Hey Friends,
I get a great deal of encouragement from Mr. Peterson's Transformetrics emails. His latest really hits the nail on the head. Exercising the body is never going to be as successful until we exercise the mind along with the body. Posting here for your reference.
All the Best.

Determining Your Own Future
“We are face to face with our destiny and we must meet it with a high and resolute courage. For us is the life of action, of strenuous performance of duty; let us live in the harness, striving mightily; let us rather run the risk of wearing out than rusting out.”—Theodore Roosevelt
Why is it that so many people who exercise and diet year after year remain overweight and lacking in muscle definition? They go through the motions, thinking that success is merely the combination of the right exercises and the right foods. Although that is definitely part of the route to success, the truth is that you cannot get the results you want unless you begin with the goal clearly defined in your mind.
The whole key to making miracles happen in your life, whether in your fitness, your career, or your marriage, begins exactly the same way—with your intention. First, you must establish order through mentally picturing what it is that you want to achieve. Then you add power, life, vitality, radiance, and passion to the mental image by breathing life into it.
We become what we think about with deep, vivid emotion. To merely think a thought does not give it transformative power. But to think a thought backed by an abundance of passion, enthusiasm, and life-affirming emotion puts it into the realm of the extraordinary.
This is the way of the transformed life. You, and you alone, determine what you want in life. And you alone—with faith, courage, and perseverance—make up your mind that nothing will prevent you from reaching your goal.
Resolve to stop thinking negative thoughts such as “I can’t—there’s too much for me to overcome.” Start saying, “I can! I will! Nothing will stop me!” Each day is a new day and a new start, so make yours happen positively.
Refocus your life priorities and make fitness a dynamic part of it. Then put your heart and soul into your workouts and you can achieve goals that are beyond your wildest dreams.—J.P.
