I definetly agree with John and Greg about the great benfits of the Atlas situps.I have 3 herniated and 2 bulging disc in my lower back.I've tried every exercise program under the sun in my18 years of training.I personally prefere BOP for my goals.I've been doing the Atlas situps everyday and my back has never felt better and my posture has never been better.

I might have to give them a go myself, I have had lower back problems for the last month or two but have avoided any situps or crunches in fear that it may make the condition worse.

Hi Daniel,

The keys are:

1. Don't Anchor the feet

2. Concentrate on rolling the vertebra up one at a time

3. Progress slowly on this one

Also, there is nothing wrong starting off with the arms exended onverhead and reaching forward to touch the toes at first.
