In case some of you haven't read a post on the Announcements thread, I think you'll be happy to know that you can retrieve old posts. Here's the info that was posted there...and I've found that it works for the posts I've looked fo!:act-up:

A decent way of getting at old posts for the moment is to do a Google search for them. For example, type the following into google:

Code:

"workout log" site:www.transformetrics.com

Then, instead of clicking the link to view the page (it is no longer there so that won't do you any good), click the "cache" link just under the item you want to view.

Oh thanks for the helpful information, now I'll be able to get some of the HIIT info I was looking for. Any chance of getting this incorporated in the general search button of the site?

Guys, this is a great resource for now. But this will be gone within a month. Google clears it's cache regularly -- so find you want and either save it to your computer or post it back here for future reference.

JaceRider,

Thanks so much for letting us know about this way to recover old posts. And that we need to do it soon!

haven't used it in a while, but I'm sure you can google the time machine, which keeps old web pages. Last time I used it was to see how someone had changed what they wrote, and then denied what they wrote before.

I tried googling time machine and don't know really what you mean Revwally. So like Rob said please clarify what you mean. Thanks.

I think what he meant was the "wayback machine" which can be found at archive.org Though if I'm mistaken please let me know.

Thank you omad -- that is what I mean. When I needed it at another time (been a couple of years since I used it), I got it by looking for "time machine" -- but it is called the wayback -- as in the old cartoon :). I haven't done this with this site -- but I assume that you can do it. When I did it before, I found a way to read all sorts of previous things.

I am just finishing up my work at a church, and have a busy couple of weeks ahead -- otherwise I would take the time myself. tell me if it works
