]First just want to say I tried my first G.U.T.S workout on Sunday. I don't know why everyone says it is so hard. I flew through it with no problems. I wasn't even breathing heavy. Just kidding. I wish I felt like that. Great workout but tough in a good way. I am starting out slowly and plan on staying with it. Great book John and what a workout. I plan on continuing doing my isobelt workouts while I am doing G.U.T.S. I have had such great results with it I don't want to give it up. Do you guys think that is a good idea? Also I find isometrics with the belt to be a great muscle builder. Do others find that to be true or do you see the iso's only good at building strength. I would really love to hear other's experiences with muscle growth with iso's and if they are working so good for me should I hold off on G.U.T.S. I really don't want to do that though. Thanks again everyone. I am so glad I found this forum.
Thanks
Rob

Hey Rob,
I think that combining Iso's with G.U.T.S. is a fantastic idea and will amplify the over all effects of both because G.U.T.S. will infuse your muscles with highly oxygenated blood and also give your muscles maximum stretch and elasticity. Not to mention superior cardio and muscular endurance. Let us know your results.

Hi Rob,
I agree with John.Just yesterday that is what I did-G.U.T.S followed by isometrics.Felt like a tank this morning.Measured and my bicep was 19 inches(does bicep size vary like this?-not used to measuring like this).
John I can't wait for 'Hard as Nails'.Between G.U.T.S and Hard as Nails, sounds like there will be no question about anything after this!
Good routine Rob keep it up!

Hi Rob,
I'm going to start doing isos with the belt when I get it. I never really got into isos because I never had a piece of equipment with which I could do a full-body workout with;well,I did try Mike Marvel's Dynaflex course back in the early 70's;and,it didn't do much for me;although,I don't think that that was true isometrics anyway;so,I continued with weight training. Now,I'm really interested in functional muscle and strenth.I've been doing DVRs along with pullups, dips,Atlas lll push -ups with a back pack of weights on my back, leg raises, and the ab wheel.
I also did read that isos primarily build strenth and not muscle mass.I don't know how much truth there is to that. Maybee someone who has used isos alone for a time can answer that.
