I have recently begun doing the "Miracle Seven." I understand that I should maintain the tension on both phases of a movement. Is there a part where I can rest?...like between repetitions? Or is the tension maintained until all the repetitions are all completed?

Hello Rhungerman,
Welcome to our forum. I'd recommend that you focus your tension more on the positive(or forward) phase of the movement and lighten it on the return phase. One can use high tension in both directions but it is not necessary. Or, one can certainly rest momentarily between repetitions. But you are correct that it is necessary to relax slightly between reps to allow blood flow. John Mc, Sweeney whom I learned the exercises from advocated that one perform 3 sets of 10 repetitions at moderate tension. Believe me, the man was strong right up to the day that he died.
