Donna your protest is duly noted and recorded. Stay away from Paba vitimin B it might destory your lovely grey and make it return to the original color, you are duly warned.
A friend in High School started going grey about 13 or 14; he was happy with his grey hair.
Donna what about you living to 100? Any objection? That Chinese Doctor has several books, all interesting.

I'd like to know more about your friend's use of Paba. What brand did he use and how much?
Thanks for any info you can provide!

Sorry for not noticing the question earlier: he reported he buys what is on sale at the Mall Vitimin store that sells supplements.

Hey Dr. Success,
How is the vision thing going?
I had to get new glasses at much lower power, thank you Dr Bates. I am doing Vision Therapy with a developmental optometrist to restore stereo vision I lost as a child.
For hair I use saw palmetto and tocotrienols. will have to try the paba vitamin.

Hey MikeNY,
You are from NYC, right?
You can get the tocotrienols in rice bran.
I marinate raw zucchini slices in olive oil and garlic, coat it in rice bran, dehydrate or bake at really low temperature, and serve it with raw tomato+sundried tomato+garlic+oregano.
This tastes like those amazing fried eggplant parmiagiano subs I ate growing up as a kid on the east coast.
The rice bran tastes exactly like fried food but with no bloat. You can pig out on these and then go for a swim.
With rice bran, you can feed the east coast italian food addiction AND help out the hair.

Never heard of rice bran but this sounds delicious. I cook with extra virgin olive oil and use a lot of garlic. The sauce sounds good, sun dried tomatos are the bomb, I add them to Alfredo sauce.
I once lived in LA and use to drive to Laguna Beach to stand in line for real New York Pizza and cold cuts. real East Coast Pizza is the best, and one thing I missed when not there was real cold cuts, in California they thought Hot Dogs were cold cuts and ate pineapple on Pizza.

Thanks for the info, guys!
I'm planning on being here till for at least 250 years. There's a guy in Tennessee named Peter Ragnar with some great longevity info. He's also into fitness, mainly with weights. He's in his 70's (I'm guessing) but looks early 40's and bends iron bars, does pinch grips with obscene amounts of weight, etc.
I believe we can remain on this Earth, in a state of physical perfection, for as long as we want. I believe all death is suicide, or a choice.
Read a fascinating book called In Secret Tibet by Thedore Illion in which he wrties of meeting Tibetan hermits who looked 35 but were well into their hundreds. And don't forget ol' Colonel Bradford!
My vision is better and better, thanks. How about yours?
I spend a lot of time at the computer which doesn't help. In the sun, it's much, much better.
I greatly appreciate both of you guys ( and everyone else on this forum).

Hey Dr Success,
Yes vision is getting better and better, I had to get a new prescription because the old ones are over-corrected thanks to Dr. Bates. I am working with a developmental optometrist to fix my stereo vision problems.
Dr. Success, try out the bead stereo vision exercises even if you have binocular vision. A very big chunk of my myopia goes away when my eyes fuse. I would be interested to see if stereo vision issues are causing in myopia in folks with binocular vision. note that in the book "fixing my gaze" the author noticed huge improvements in clarity once her eyes fused.
I can induce the 'windows of clarity' that a lot of Bates patients notice when I do the bead exercises.
There is a lot of scientific research indicating a huge increase in lifespan in the relatively near future, Ray Kurzweils book "The Singularity Is Near" has more info. The book is from 2005 and a lot of it has come true already.
I cannot begin to thank you enough for recommending the MacFadden and Bates books.
If you have not seen it yet, check out the Russian Urban Fitness clip from about a week ago on the John Peterson forum. I have been doing the chin ups with bicycle leg pumps and it is a great ab exercise.

Funny a friend just recommended Transcend: Nine Steps to Living Well Forever by Ray Kurzweil, I haven't even read about it, I'll have to research it.
I have the Bates, Macfadden and Bragg books, the Bragg vision book seemed an updated version of Macfadden but that was his mentor. I was recently noticed the cost of the Bragg book on eye sight has risen a lot.
Glad that works for you guys! Vision is so important; we forget how much.
