I am grateful to all who have said prayers for me. I had shortness of breath that when I walked from the kitchen to the family room, I was gasping for breath. I can not shower without stopping to catch my breath.
It was determined I had a blocked artery. They went in and used a balloon to open it up, and left a stent to keep it open.
I was then informed that my 3 year diabetes had damaged 75 percent of my heart. That was a shocker. I have never had to take insulin only pills. I have been praised by my doc for keeping my sugar numbers good. My A1C I have kept under 7. So I am at a loss as to why this could happen.
If anyone has ideas how to repair a damaged heart muscle, please feel free to let me know.
Oh yes, I still am very short of breath. I am congested and have not had time to heal. So I hope that I get a little better.
