Couldn't help but think of Texas Flood yesterday.

We had three inches of rain in a short amount of time-my cellar and Sons room flooded.
Spent all day, home from work, removing water.

To top it off,our insurance won't touch this(surface water!).

Hmmm, sounds like a good start to a blues tune,

'Well it's floddin' up in Maine?'- nope sorry, doesn't sound as good as Texas Flood.Man I miss Stevie-had him playing all day while working.

Have much to do here, see you in a day or so-please send thoughts and prayers(much more going on in my life-could use some prayers from you great folks!).

peace,
jason

One more thing on the Stevie Ray Vaughn question. He's from Texas right? I was a fan of his and we Texans got to stick together!

Jason,

You have my prayers.

Aaron,
Stevie was from the Dallas area. Yes! We Texans do have to stick together. Nothin' like "Texas Music".

Hi Jason,

I hope things are dryer for you now. So sorry to hear of the flooding and damage.

When I was in Texas a few years ago visiting relatives, there was a bad storm. I woke up in the morning to discover that the room I was sleeping in was safe, but a river had flowed down the driveway and right through the living room and another bedroom. My sister-in-law and brother-in-law had been up all night dealing with it. They were exhausted. The flood ruined the new flooring that my brother-in-law had just installed and a wall-to-wall carpet. They had been hauling furniture outside all night in order to get the rug up. I felt so sorry for them. A house down the road from them was struck by lighting and was just ashes by morning.

I'll be praying for you.
