If I had to use one term that most fully describes the "secret" of the exercise systems taught on this site and in related publications whether it be DVR/VRT, Isometrics or Isometric Power Flexing; they all share the principle of combining inward projection or inner concentration with physical exercise. While other forms of exercise project our conscious energy out and away from the body; this science projects our conscious energy inward to the center of the mind which is the seat of consciousness and the source of all true potential personal power. These techniques not only share the same power source with each other, but with other sources of internal power such as meditation and even prayer. This stuff is powerful, life changing, and universal. While these principles have been around since antiquity they are particularly applicable to the rapidly changing world that we live in today.
It's a pitty few people realise this. Humanity would be in a much better shape, and medical cost would plummet.

The techniques taught on this forum are really the key to upgrading and making your life more enjoyable and more effective, whatever, your situation and whatever your goals. The power is within evey person and the mind/body connection is the key to developing these abilities. It doesn't take much time - maybe 15 minutes a day. The more control that you have over your life the more fun it is and these approaches will not injure you in the process. "All true power comes from within."

Jan makes a good point about medical costs and improved health. Gordon the mind body connection is known why isn't it taught in school?
Once schools placed an emphasis on fitness, Gym Class and Recess were part of schools. Sadly we have moved away from those simple measures. Schools are strapped for cash, using VRT/DVR methods you could cut costs and make a positive impact on health & fitness. The ancient Greeks and Romans had Gyms but those were mostly large open areas and baths, not expensive weight rooms that injure and maim user's over time.
Bronzebow methods work and there are other similar methods that also work, plus students can learn Boxing, Kickboxing, Wreslting and Judo/JiuJitsu. The Best doesn't always cost the most!

Mike, It has been my observation that many of the people involved in the schools and a number of intellectuals in general don't accept the mind/body connection and consider anything physical below them and less evolved. I really believe that is a big part of it.

Gordon the ancient Greeks posed "a healthy body a healthy mind" and ancient India, China and the Middle East were in tune with that thought. Modern kids need Gym and exercise just as much as older generations did.

I agree, but there have been a lot of other influences that have intervened since Ancient Greece and Rome. During the middle ages and the dark ages in Europe the human body was reviled.
