I am 72 years old and did 250 pushups plus isometrics and miracle 7 on Monday and next day I had very sore muscles.Will it be ok if I do isometrics and or miracle 7 untill soreness wears off.

I would recommend doing the M7 with light or very light tension do get the blood flowing to those sore muscles. It seems to work wonders as a recovery exercise as well.

First, GOOD JOB!!!! You should give yourself a big pat on the back just for doing all of that at that age. I know people my age that couldn’t pull that off if they had to.
Second, I agree with stingray. Whatever you do, make sure to do it light until the soreness subsides. It will a) get the blood flowing, and b) get some endorphins into your system, both of which will help to “heal” the muscles.
At this point it’s very important to listen to your body. Do only what you feel you’re capable of doing.
