Higher medical costs will cripple US Industry but that might all be part of the Obama Plan. As you noted in another thread Medical Insurance costs are going up due to Obamacare and it's mandates; and might result in the loss of jobs to India, China and the Third World. Obama is manufacturing a crisis and that might backfire on the Washington Messiah and he could end up an impeached Marxist.

I"m reading now from Newt Gingrich that the bill will be powerless if we flip the house in November and then refuse to fund the mandates. Judge Napolitano think some of the unconstitutional lawsuits will stick. Most think they will not. Apparently the same fight was made over Social Security.

The overall arrogance of the health bill was a fatal mistake IMO and will potentially help us to neutralize BO's future ambitions. Lindsay Graham says now that the healthcare bill essentially killed immigration reform and hopefully it will kill cap and trade. The tone and policies in motion will not help a tenuous unemployment problem. It will most likely fuel it leading to more angst for a clueless administration and Congress. November can't come soon enough.

My everyday acquaintances who are not really political are mad as hades and will be more active in the next election. The silent majority is awakening from their nap.
