and where are you
my lover,
my dream.
long ago the doors were open
to your verdant gardens;
the smell of figs,
rare spices,
and pomegranets.
the door is closed now
the city walls crumbling,
the narrow doorway
cracked,
and weatherbeaten.
oh,to know you again.
to listen to the movement of stars,
to breath silence
on fragranced breath.
the door is closed,
the city crumbling.
and my feet are worn
from desert travel....
To know oneself! How important! We have this life that goes by,by any standard swiftly.In fact it is so swift that our fast talk cannot even be discerned by rocks and ancient trees.
Do we live a life of closed inner doors,with crumbling walls?
This journey so sacred,how important to know all aspects of who and what we are.
There are two very important questions you can ask yourself to begin the process of self-discovery;
'Who am I'?and
'Where am I going"/ These questions in all the variouys religious traditions are the springboard to discovering who we are,what we are.
I want to live a life of doors wide open,a place where the heart can be perfumed by the various spices of this very life.I want to see from inside this crumbling city,this ageing tongue(that relatively speaking is already dust).
It is not to give up and simply watch the tide of time.In fact it is the very process of engagement,that allows moment,by moment to be fully lived.What I like to call, this,'pregnant moment'.
Transformetrics can allow in this process of self-discovery.If we are aware of the 'inner strength' the moments lived within the city,in the garden,we can smile with the crecent moon-heart warmed and connected to the midday sun.
There is a certain sense of mystery and mysticism that awaits and can be found on this path.
Don't stand on the outside of the crumbling city,
fumbling for keys
that are no longer useful....
peace,
jason
