Don’t talk to aliens, warns Stephen Hawking

I read through this this morning. I know Stephen Hawking is suppose to be brilliant and all, and I've read some of his works. He has a brilliant mathematical mind that I'd never be able to match, and has come up with some interesting theories. But I read this and think this guy is suppose to be "the smartest man on Earth" so what he says makes sense and believing in God is just silly. :thinking:

:embarrassed: My goodness Joe this is horrible but I've dated an Alien, she wasn't illegal, but was an Alien, from a planet called Israel and dated a couple other Alien's beside her from a Planet called Europe.

Hawking might have a point, in many languages the word for stranger or foreigner was "enemy". Maybe before we date girls from Mars we better find out first; if they are hot and secondly not vampires lol.

I agree the probably is we are not alone, but what if we are the elder race of the Universe? Kind of scary, us the old race and we are the bad guys :desire: I learned one thing about Aliens they fill out a bikini mighty fine :)

I'm not sure how serious your post is, but assuming it is serious, I think the belief in God and a belief in other life forms can coexist. One does not rule out the other.

On the humorous side, as they said in Bowfinger: "I never should have slept with that Alien lifeform!"

No, I'm not saying there's not such thing, I don't know.

I'm just laughing at Hawking. He's an atheists and yet he's got no problem with little green men. I know, I'm simplifying it, I didn't mean this to be a real serious post. Just when I first read this article, it stuck me as funny.

It is pretty much a rule of conquest that whenever a more technically advanced culture has met a less advanced culture; that the more advanced culture has literally decimated the less advanced one. I don't know if there are aliens or not,but if the universe is unlimited then a high mathematical probaliity exists that there are. If God is the creator of the universe then he also created the aliens if, in fact, they do exist.

I do agree with that statement. If aliens do/did exist and could come to earth, that fact alone means they are more advanced than we are. If you look at history what has happened to the less advanced culture when two cultures meet? You hope that you are the most advanced.
