Hey everybody. I have a question, well actually its a question a friend asked me and i wanted to get your imput. I have a skinny friend who doesnt really want to gain anymore muscle mass but wants to get that really cheisled veiny type look. Alls he has are a pair of 5 pound dumbells at the moment. Do you guys think that doing super high rep training with dvrs, like i dont know lets say more then 100 reps per exercise would be good for this kind of look and overall good health.

If you're doing DVRs with adequate focus/tension, I can't imagine being able to stand doing 100 reps on any of them.

Hey Tony84,

For developing a 'rock hard' ultra ripped look I'd tell your friend to take up an intense program of Isometrics. I have never seen any method of exercise work as well for that specific purpose. The muscles become incredibly dense as a result and the body sheds fat that is directly over the muscles. This was also noted by former Mr. Olympia Larry Scott. He called the technique 'going for the Synapse".

Hi Tony

Maybe you should tell your friend that if he does a workout of power calinethics and/or dvrs & dsrs, combined with isometrics, iam sure he will get the ripped look he is looking for.

He must also know that it comes down to diet as well as the training he is doing. Please let us know how your friend gets on, thanks tony.

Yours in the best of health.

KEITH JAMES.
