Hey guys. The Doctor has me on this medication and one of the side effects is that is causes bad joint aches and its effecting my push ups. So i was thinkin of giving DVRs a shot but i need some help. What would be a good DVR routine for the whole body? Could someone give me a list of exercises that would be good to start out with. And theres one thing about DVRs that gets me confused. How do you progress when doing DVRs? Do you just use enough tension to stay within a certain rep range? Any thing you guys can tell me would be a big help, i was never interested in DVRs but until i get off this medication which should be soon i think they might be the way to go. Thanks guys

Start with "Tiger Moves" as described in "The Miracle Seven." You will love them. Experiment with different tensions and reps until you find what works for you.

The best “list of exercises” for DVR’s would be the M7’s Tiger Moves, in my opinion.
As far as progression goes, you’re already thinking in the right direction. As you become more proficient with DVR’s, you’ll be able to either do more, or do them with more intensity.
You might be surprised at just how effective DVR’s really are :)

Tony,
Another structured full-body DVR routine is Greg's VRT package. You could use it as a standalone workout or use it...or parts of it...in combination with the "Tiger Moves."
Seeing and using Greg's VRTs and the Tiger Moves opened my eyes to how infinitely varied effective DVRs can be.
You're on the right track! Let us know how you're doing.

PYTP has a DVR section that includes the 7 tiger moves plus a few extras for complete development. I think Dr. Neal used those quite a bit early on if I remember his old posts correctly.
