Currently I'm doing Joe Justices 2/3rds GUTS in the morning, 5 to 6 days aweek. Here are the exercises:
AIIIP,AS,PULLUPS,TBS,PULLUPS,AS,AIIIP,AND THE MILO.
I was wondering what you guys would add for an evening workout. You think maybe should I do differant pushups to keep the balance in my shoulders or the iso power belt?
Any input welcomed.Thanks Michael

Michael,

As John says many times, you are you're own trainer. Try it and document how your body responds to the addtional workout. If poisitive, stick with it, if you feel yourself getting burned out, back off.

As far as recommendation, I know many people seem to respond very well to a DVR style workout at the end of the day. Miracle 7 is a great way to end the day.

My 2 cents. Good luck, let us know how you do.

I would second jonlclay's suggestion. End the day with a set of DVRs. They will relax you and put your subconscious mind in the required state to generate power while you sleep. Tiger Moves are perfect and after all they are the type of exercises recommended for evening practice by Alois P. Swoboda.

If you're craving another workout in the evening,5 or 6 days a week, maybee you're not putting enough intensity into the early day workouts. If you are,i would go with something lifgt in the evening - yoga,or a 45 minute power walk and stretching. Be careful of overtraing.Listen to your body's signals. For some people, more is not always better than less.

The only time I've incorpoated an evening workout is when I go on the tried and true 12 week Charles Atlas program (which I'm actually in the process of right now).

Evey couple of years, I re-read his course and go through it chapter by chapter as outlined. He recommended training in the am and pm EVERY day. So that's what I do when I'm on his program. If you hit the 200 Atlas pushups a day (100 in the morning and 100 at night) you're bound to see results, as Atlas indicated in his course. I achieve noticeable gains following his program as designed, which includes an evening workout. What I find though is that the workouts aren't KILLER workouts in the morning AND evening (as that would result in over training. As such, I'm able to sleep well (as opposed to if I do an intense workout at night, which tends to keep me up).
