It was the contention of the Elite and the Liberals for the USA to become a Service Economy. Poilcy from Washington lead to jobs and factories being shipped overseas. We are currently in a Recession and now the policy looks bad. The Financial Services Industry is the US's largest and our Industrial base is depleted. Now the Good Jobs were also shipped overseas. Allowing a reinvestment tax creidt to fiance the move overseas was a error, it should only be for US Job creation! We also need to become competitive Tax wise and need a 15% Corporate Tax, and generous investment credit to build jobs. The Social State is killing the USA and the goose that laid the golden egg; all those expensive social policies drive business of of the US.
Is it time to encourage jobs and production in the USA. With the current bad jobs report it is probable the US will have to bailout the 3 US Auto Companies. There should be strings attached and those compnaies need to dump thier poor management and Unions will have to scale back too.
