Hey John,
I have just purchased a 180 cap (750mg per cap) container of Kre-Alkalyn & was wondering how best to take it.
Thank you.
Take care,
Steve

from what i read about, if you stick to the directions you will be fine. its notreally like a energy/thermogenic/ft burner. you take it and it gets into your system and thats it. as long as you take it every day it stays there and works. itdoesnt have a 4-6 hour half life. im no expert but thatsthe way i understand it.
I also purchased some recently after John mentioned using it and getting good results. I started with the lower dose recommended on the bottle, but even on that I notice myself having an increase in feelings of agitation and anxiety (which I'm prone to anyway). I'm not sure why, as it's not a stimulant as such. I can't decide whether to carry on taking it in the hope the side effect will subside, or just give up on it.

Hey Friends,
Kre-Alkalyn is the most bio-available form of Creatine that one can take. As far as dosage is concerned, I don't think you can go wrong if you stay with the dosage that is recommended on the label. Now as far as what Mark said, I'd have to say that if that is your experience Mark that you should stop taking it. Truth is, we all have different reactions. If you feel that Kre-Alkalyn or any other product of any kind has caused you anxiety then I'd recommend that you stop taking that product.

Thanks for that advice John. I've taken some today, and don't actually feel too bad. I also felt like I had more energy to get through my workout. I think it might be more psychological then anything else, as because I've had bad experiences with supplements in the past (and always stopped taking them when I did), I probably just associate taking a supplement with adverse reactions! Also, I do have a lot of things going on in life that are causing anxiety, the most recent being possible redundancy.
I'll see how I go, and if I feel it is making things worse then I'll stop taking it. I am keen to give it a go and see if it helps with building some muscle, as it's something I find very difficult to do.
Regards,
Mark.

Hey Mark,
For anxiety and stress I recommend taking pharmaceutical grade DHEA. The brand that I take is Kaizen. As many of you know, chronic stress and anxiety causes an extreme elevation in cortisol (the stress hormone) levels. This wreaks havoc on the body and causes premature aging because when cortisol is chronically elevated testosterone is depressed. DHEA will help to lower cortisol and maximize testosterone.

Hi again John,
I have looked into taking DHEA before, but at the time was put off by reading reports of various side effects. What dosage do you take? As I'm in the UK, I might not be able to get the same brand as you take easily, so would look for alternatives - but from what I've read in the past it is best to take a quite low dose?
Thanks,
Mark.

Hello Again Mark,
I'd start at 10 milligrams a day and work up from there. DHEA has an inverse relationship to cortisol and will neutralize it's devastating long term effects.

Thanks John, I'll look into it. I seem to remember last time I checked it out it was hard to find in dosages less than 25mg. But I'll look around and see what's available. Also, do you know much about, or have you tried, 7-Keto DHEA?
One final question, I have just been looking at some DHEA products, and it mentions 'not intended for use by persons under 40 years of age - I am 32. Do you think I should still consider trying it?
Cheers,
Mark.

If DHEA was legal here in New Zealand, I would take 50mg every morning.
