Hey Friends,

I've answered this before but let me answer it once again for our new friends.

The answer is that it varies in direct relationship to what else I am doing on any given day. Example: This morning I performed my 360 Full Circle workout. In that workout I perform:

6 X 60 Atlas III Push-Ups
6 X 60 Atlas Ballet Squats
6 X 60 Atlas Full Range Sit-Ups

This workout is performed in circuit interval style with chest/DVR/DSRs between Push-Ups & Squats.

Later on throughout the day I knock of an addition 6 X 60 Atlas III Push-Ups (three of which I have already done today leaving only three more sets for a total of 720 Atlas III Push-Ups today.)

Later on this evening I'm going for a run. And after wards swim across Lake Nokomis.

That sounds like a great workout, John, one question I have for you John,is how with doing Atlas ballet squats and TBS do your leg muscles feel any different after your leg workout? I know the balance factor comes into play, but I guess I should have said between the 2 exercises which would be the better exercise for the legs?

Many of you don't know this, but John does one push-up for every time he is asked that question. A day.

"Later on this evening I'm going for a run and (after wards) swim across Lake Nokomis." Wow. This is summer, folks. No ice. That is some fast foot speed.

Ok, now I better go out and do something useful.

Hey dynogoalie30,

With the Atlas Ballet Squat we start on our toes with our heels touching and endeavor to keep them together throughout the range of motion. NO EASY TASK. In terms of speed, forget it. You will not be able to move at the speed of TBS. For example, I once did 300 Atlas ballet squats in 12 minutes (actually about 11:57 or 58) but that was way too fast and my form suffered as a result. Bottom line: it takes me a good 15 minutes and change to do 300 in one set. A set of 60 Atlas Ballet Squats requires 3 minutes for me personally. In terms of leg sculpting that is the best exercise in my opinion.

the ballet squats, yea they are deffinately amazing in terms of results. i actually do perfer them to TBS, i dont know why and im sure many of you disagree but i feel like it takes more effort and definately more core strength.....dont believe me try them now. lol.

Hey Armorplated,

I totally agree with you on the ballet squats. I also prefer them to TBS, they seem a bit easier on the knees.
