Check it out...

I was poking around to see what the new forum's software can do and ran into the Social Groups feature! You can create and join a group where you can post message and pictures and such. For example someone could create a "Resident of California" social group and everyone here who lives in California could join it and share pictures and such.

So with all of the talk of being able to do 100 push-ups in a single set and people wanting to reach that goal, I thought I'd make a group with that goal in mind! Join the group and post your progress as a message every week. We can keep track of everyone's progress and give each other encouragement. It's always more fun working on a goal when you are working alongside someone else.

Also this feature might be good for some of you other folks, say the HIT folks could start a group for example. Or VRT only folks! I really like the new forum software, it's much more robust and has tons of features we've only scratched the surface of! Thanks John!!!

Now, everyone go join my group!!!!

.......

I have no idea....

I created it so I don't have any kind of join option. Try clicking on the link and seeing if there is a button that says, "Join Group" or something to that effect.

Oh, little tip. You can get to your groups by clicking on "Quick Links" at the top of the forum and selecting Social Groups.

All right. But if my rib starts inflaming it is God's way of telling me to quit. I've never gotten to a hundred. I've done them all my life, billions, and never got to a hundred. I've never made it a goal. Sounds fun.

My max now is an estimated 30's. They are perfect, full range to avoid the bouncy enthusiasm that seems to set my ribs off. I will keep perfection a criteria.

I'm in, but in the interest of promoting balanced upper body development, I will create the 20 Chin Up Challenge Group. (http://www.transformetrics.com/forum/group.php?groupid=2)

Hey Joe,

I've signed up!

Could be a while for me though, as I am not going to perform any power cals until the holes on my scarline have completely healed.

Take care,
Steve

Sounds great, Joe.

Only one question: Will the group likely still be in existence if it takes me years to reach 100? :)

My max is only 17 right now.
