As stated in my last post on the log bit of the forum, here are the pictures that were taken this morning. I have been on GUTS for about 19 weeks, never pushing myself to the limits.

Great work, Jan. I'm curious, what kind of workout are you doing? You're getting great results.

Tejas,

I've done the G.U.T.S. routine primarily, but at low intensity, i.e. low reps, never really pushing myself to the limit. Further, I tend to watch my diet, more specifically the amount I eat. I only eat until I'm satisfied, not full! Apart from that, M7's were always performed at the end of the day, just before retiring to bed, but, again, never more than 2 sets, varying intensity medium to high.

Whew,

Looking VERY WELL DEFINED! However, I do believe you've put some muscular size on since the last pictures you posted. You are looking good.

Tomman,

thanks :)

Greg,

I did put on some muscle, especially the upper arm. I owe that, I think, to the MILO, and GUTS of course.
I'm looking for a lite, ripped look, much like the jungle cats (cogar or mountainlion are my favorites). From what I remember of my gymnastic days, we used to do low volume push ups and sit-ups, never going to failure. Yet my look was already well defined and finely muscular. I believe the low volume approach, and the fact that gymnastics is a kind of full-body isometrics, were responsible for defining my build, then AND now. So eventually, I will go back to that mode of training: low volume push ups and sit ups, DVR/DSR and isometrics. John's handstand book is actually filled with what I need, but I'm going to lay (rebuild) the foundation first with PYTP.

Jan My Friend,

WOW! Forget the measurements Jan. You look fantastic. Your physique is just about a carbon copy of what Yul Brynner sported in "Kings of the Sun". LITHE, LEAN & SCULPTED...IN MY OPINION...PERFECT.

John,

thank you for the kind words :) I still would like to see some more definition in the abs though. I must say I do like the lithe and sculped look of the '40 and '50 stars.

Wow Jan! Those are solid measurements! It is great to see your transformation! I do have to say that from the pictures, your upper arms look more like 14.5 inches than 12.8 inches but I trust that you know what you are doing with your arm measurements. Great job!

Be Blessed!

Jan,

Great pictures. Your are very lean and muscular and with the shaved head look like a Shaolin monk. I also love the wood paneling in your room. That is a nice den.

Hi Jan

Awesome pictures of your development so far, i especially like the front and rear double bicep pose.

On the front bicep pose, i like the cuts on the inside of your upper arms and on the rear bicep pose i love the arm and delt development.

Great work, keep it up.

KEITH JAMES.
