Today i had a phone interview for a new job, I do currently have a job this is just an oppurtunity that was shown to me that I could not pass up on. I have been with the same company now for 9 years so needless to say i was a little nervous as I have not been on an interview in 9 years, before my phone interview started I did a few isometric holds with some deep breathing to try and calm the nervers a bit I then started my interview, to make a long story short that was probably one of the best interviews I have ever had, so good in fact I have been told that I will be moving to the second phase of the interview process.

Isometrics along with VRT/DVR and Isometric Power Flexing in addition to building muscle and physical strength also build your mental and emotional strength. Even Bob Hoffman, the father of world weightlifting, said, "Isometrics build NERVE FORCE." They are also great for elevating your mood prior to critical interviews or similar stressful events. Alois P. Swoboda suggested that you could even do DVR/VRT at odd moments during the day for a few minutes and Frank Rudolph Young was very specific in suggesting that a few hidden Isometric Power Flexes in such a situation acted as kind of a conditioned response to put you in a confident mood and draw on the internal strength that you had previously built up in your workouts.

Hey Rob,

Thank you for sharing this. The personal testimonies of how these methods improve our everyday lives in different scenarios inspire me to continue pressing in and doing more.
