Hello everyone!

I'm new here but I've been reading these forums for some time now. Lots of great inspiration.

I thought I would make a thread following my progress in order to inspire myself further and hopefully I'll be able to make updates with some noticeable physique changes. The pictures here are my before, these are at 5'9" (which shouldn't be changing throughout my training!!!!) and 135lbs, around 9% body fat, having done no exercise whatsoever for around 3 years due to illness.

Unfortunately, I have been suffering with several health issues including an anxiety disorder and agoraphobia for many years now which have put me in a situation where I pretty much live home-bound and haven't worked or studied in a few years. On the other hand, strangely I seem to have been blessed with a good physique that seems to hold up pretty well even in times of extreme inactivity (which has been A LOT for the last 10 years due to the already mentioned issues).

I am using Transformetrics as part of my therapy to better myself inside and out and be able to resume a normal life (this also includes diet and psychological exercises). I don't have much stamina at the moment and this is helping me to build it up. I have only been training for about a week now, following PYTP and taking up the 500 push-up challenge! I did 300 push-ups on my 4th day of training but have had to take 2 days rest due to soreness :shame:

I am really curious to see how the training's going to affect my physique. I really need the motivation now given how everything else has been going. I've always been very light in weight and hope to put on some good muscle on me, I'm at around 130lbs now - not bad considering I was 113 just a few months ago when going through a special detox diet trying to cleanse my system and get my health back.

Bless you all and look forward to be posting some new pictures in the months/years to come :male-fighter2:

Pau

P.S.: Sorry if some of the pictures are a bit blurry!

Hey Pau,

Firstly, welcome to the Forum!

You have come to right place for information, encouragement & inspiration.

Sorry to hear about your health.I know that it can be very challenging & at times determine what training can or cannot be done. Just be aware of your body as you have been when you took a couple of days off after performing 300 pushups. You do have the rest of your life to train :)

I look forward to following your progress.

Once again, welcome aboard & enjoy the ride!

Take care,
Steve
