Has anyone utilized the push up board in workouts? I stumbled across this site and never heard of it 'til today. It seems like an easy project and I think that the it would be nice to hold on to while doing hindu push ups.

I removed the link for this one. Didn't realize that a product was being advertized here. Anyway, it seems to me like something that could be done by someone with minimal carpentry skills and some tools.

I made one and have used it in one workout. I don't know what to think of it yet.

I saw an advert for the push-up board on the Net a while back. Thought it was a good idea, but I can't see how its any different from using a set of push-up handles, and applying a little bit of thought. I remember doing push-ups off of a square rail in my garden, which was only a foot off the ground.

That said, it looks easy to make (looks for tools in his garage!)

Performing pushups using ordinary boards introduces a stability challenge; hence, such work will prep you for the more difficult T handle pushes.
